Grade 6 Geography students are just finishing up their travels through the vast and varied lands of Russia. They have learned about the government under communism and their efforts to convert to a market economy, as well as about the many culture groups that make up the population. Next, learners will explore the independent republics that were once part of the former Soviet Union.
Grade 7 World History students have completed their studies of the Romans and created news articles describing some of the significant people, places, and events of the time. Most recently, they have studied the early Christians and the spread of their new faith. Upcoming, they will learn about the roles of the Germans, Franks, Irish, and Anglo Saxons during the early middle ages before exploring the developments through the high and late middle ages.
