To expand their computer knowledge in Grades 6 and 7, they will continue to reinforce the use of Hot Keys and tool bar options while covering new areas such as pasting data from the internet and keeping back-ups of their work. Using Microsoft Office they will explore the use of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Each student has a personal portfolio that involves a salary which they paired with a job description. Using these they will experience the impact of personal expenditures in maintaining a budget.
