November 2, 2020GRADE 3 - Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it ’ s back to school we go!
After an extra - long summer break, it was good to get back to school. We have not let any grass grow under our feet since we returned. We have learned to read and write the standard and expanded form of numbers up to the hundred thousands.
Now we know that communities are the same in some ways and different in others.
We are “ astronomers ” in Science and are learning about solar flares and maria. If you are curious about what they are, ask a Third Grader.
In Handwriting we are concen trating on learning how to write in cursive. It has been surprising that some letters are more difficult to write than others!
Just in time for Halloween we will be hanging jack – o ’ - lanterns on our bulletin board and creating a “ Monster ” story book.
