The Student Council of Assumption School held its annual food drive from October 29 through November 15th to help the St. Vincent do Paul Society stock its food pantry.  The entire school family took part in the drive with a total of 2,837 non-perishable items donated providing for many families this holiday season. 

Along with school students, faculty and staff, members of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Young Lawyers Division also donated to the food drive.  St. Vincent de Paul Society Vice President Leo Lucke, Treasurer Bill Kane, and member Kevin Crowley were present at school to receive the donation.
