The Art Room was ready for another fabulous year of self-expression with new markers, crayons, paint and glue sticks. It’s always exciting to have these new tools to create with. I must admit that the shiny blue color-pencil pencil sharpener is my personal favorite.   

The mural outside the art room, “Reach for the Stars” was brought to life with the collective effect of everyone during art class. Students in grade 1-7 designed their unique star using the medium of their choice. Kindergarten did an amazing job using tape and watercolors to create all the letters to spell out “Reach for the Stars.” This is a great reminder to every-one that you can achieve anything you set your mind to.
